Here be Part 1 of my 2020 countdown. These are the top 6 3rd Party Games of 2020.
Link to the video available after the break Hey guys, this is Brian. First off, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope that 2021 will be a much better & safer year for everyone, and that all the goals you set this new year you're able to succeed in.
Now for the topic of my Year end lists. They will be videos split into 3 parts, with one bonus T.O.T. list on the site as a post. They will be released starting Sunday, and released throughout next week. Available both on this site and my YouTube Channel. This also brings up another important topic. Originally, I said that every week on Friday I would post something on this site. However, after thinking on that statement more, and seeing as I've more consistently released posts on weekends. I've decided that any posts to this site will be released weekly on Saturday or Sunday. (Ironically, I'm releasing this update on a Friday...) That's all for this quick update. See you guys on Saturday, and once again Happy New Year. Happy Holidays to you all, and I hope you guys had Merry Christmas. Today I'll be comparing two games that, while similar to each other, to me is like comparing apples and oranges. Let's compare the Mario 35th Anniversary commemoration game, Super Mario 3D All-Stars, to the remaster trilogy that also rebooted the Crash Franchise, Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy. There is a lot to unpack here so click to see the comparison.
Now that they've ended and we've had some time to look back at the reveal trailers and the awards, here are my thoughts on the The Game Awards 2020 Show.
Normally I talk about Nintendo or video games in general. Today however, I'm gonna go Totally Off Tangent (TOT) and talk about something that I want to because I think its cool and this is my website and I get to do whatever I want. NA NA NA NA NA...
okay that was a bit much... Seriously though, today we go through the pros and cons as I give my opinion on one of my favorite shows on any streaming service My friends, we now venture into what is known as the second worst of Nintendo E3 presentations of all time. In this part of the Directrospective, Shadow and Arza shall take a look at Nintendo's E3 Digital Event for 2015, the final "Digital Event" that Nintendo used for E3.
The Wii U had some really good games, and I mean some REALLY good games. From the franchise saving Bayonetta 2, to the new IP of Splatoon, to the new spin on old favorites like Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors, etc. The unfortunate problem with these games is that they were stuck on the Wii U, an underperforming system with a concept that never quite took off.
Flash forward to the Nintendo Switch. A system with a simple yet ingenious concept and Nintendo fans got hooked. I'm talking currently outsold the original NES hooked. However, one thing that Nintendo fans noticed since that original trailer back in October of 2016, was the footage of Mario Kart 8 running on Switch. This later turned into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. With that announcement and the success of that port, Nintendo and a few other developers started to take the games that were stuck on Wii U and port them to Switch, sometimes with extra features, updated controls, Quality of Life Improvements, or even new content/DLC. However, at the time of this writing, it may seem that this little trend might be ending soon, as Nintendo recently announced 2 Wii U games that were, in most fans eyes, the "last" games that needed to be ported to Switch. Those games being Pikmin 3 (Pikmin 3 Deluxe) and Mario 3D World (SM3DW + Bowser's Fury). Mind you I can think of few more games on that LIST, but either way we've probably hit a stop. So today Arza, Shadow, and I are going to look at most, if not all, the major Wii U ports that came to Nintendo Switch and see if they are the new Definitive way to play the games, a Deluxe model of a great game, or just port to help others get become new fans. Let's see if these games are Definitive, Deluxe, or Ports. Hey guys, this is Brian.
Yeah, its about time I gave a proper update to when things will be posted here, and other general updates as well. Head past the break to learn more. Well, my Top 10 Wii U Games I Want On Switch List is rendered mute at this point...
...but BOY AM I HAPPY!!! Check out my reaction to the Super Mario 35th Anniversary Direct. |
